Activities and Functions

  • Be a primary co-organiser of the biannual or triannual Hong Kong (Asia-Pacific) Medical Informatics Conference (MIC) and the annual Medical Informatics Pavilion 
  • Regular meetings and seminars
  • Co-ordination and development of software packages for the health-care professionals in Hong Kong.
  • Joint functions with other allied overseas bodies of Medical Informatics.
  • Represent members' interest on the promotion of the professional status of the IT profession through participation in the IT Functional Constituency activities, Government consultations on professional qualifications and other IT matters.
  • Maintain an Internet Web site for the Society
